250 g mascarpone
200 g sugar
200 g all-purpose flour
50 g cocoa powder
3 eggs
100 ml vegetable oil
1 packet baking powder
A pinch of salt
Powdered sugar for topping (optional)

Method

Tap a step when it is done.

Whisk eggs with sugar in a bowl until fluffy.
Add mascarpone and oil and mix well.
Sift flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt.
Gently fold the sifted dry ingredients into the mixture.
Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake pan.
Bake in a preheated static oven at 180°C (350°F) for 35-40 minutes.
Check doneness with a toothpick and remove when fully baked.
Let cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
